  • This past weekend was #WomensDay and we're excited to shine some light on one of the amazing women at FirstEnergy, Samantha! Samantha is one of our Distribution Technicians, which means that she helps contribute to the evolution of our electric grid. "Our field is constantly evolving and I love being a part of modernizing the power distribution grid. Providing our customers with reliable power and ensuring the safety of our workforce is extremely fulfilling!" When she's not working on the electric grid, you might find Samantha playing guitar and writing music, which is one of her favorite hobbies.🎸🤟

  • We're extremely proud of our employees who recently jumped into action when they witnessed a terrible car accident. After immediately calling 911, they began to help free the people trapped in their upside-down vehicles. Other workers at the service center nearby heard the commotion and quickly joined in the effort too. Well done and thank you for caring about those in our community! 👏💛
