Nelia Leong is a First Tee Scholar and a junior at University of Florida. As part of our College Scholarship Program, Nelia was paired up with an adult mentor, Jen Weiler, SVP of network relations at First Tee, to help support her through her college experience. “Jen’s mentorship has been one of the most important relationships in my life. We’ve built a strong, trusting bond where I feel comfortable sharing all aspects of my life, knowing she’ll listen and offer support.” As National Mentoring Month comes to a close, we celebrate the impact mentors like Jen have on our our First Tee participants everywhere. This weekend all our First Tee College Scholars were in town for our annual Winter Workshop. The Winter Workshop is all about building their network and professional development, learning from different leaders and celebrating the graduating class. We love spending this quality time with our Scholars and we can’t wait for next year.

Our participants at First Tee- Hawaii had an incredible time at The Sentry last week. From the clinic with Max Homa to being on the course as standard bearers, it was an inspiring way to start 2025. Thanks to Sentry for their continued support of First Tee and our First Tee Game Changers Pavilion.
