Yesterday, we partnered with Crossing Collectibles - a local game store in Los Angeles - to host our FIRST Five Mics Game Night, and it was a SUCCESS!! 🎉
Every single person that showed up to the store last night came do ONE thing: PLAY FIVE MICS. And that they did. For over 2hrs straight!
I had to gracefully end the party to go back home and relieve Roza from being home alone with our baby girls 😅 (I owe you big 🤲🏾✨).
Admittedly, I wasn't sure what to expect. Some of "those thoughts" before we went live:
→ I've only been to this game store once.
→ I never met any of the community members before.
→ No other events happening at the store to rely on a flow of "indirect" traffic.
However, people did show up ready and willing ONLY to play Five Mics! And 2 hours later, they still found themselves playing, laughing, and wanting more.
The overwhelming consensus: Five Mics is FUN!
1. Quick to learn
2. Fast to play
3. Unlike anything they ever played before
They want Five Mics back at the game store. They want to bring their friends next time. They want to know what's on our roadmap - will we have more starter decks? More cards? Booster packs? Tournaments?
I'm still processing it all with gratitude. The momentum is growing, and my team is getting ready for what's to come. 🌊🏄🏾♂️
If you reached this part of the message, and you wanna be a part of what we're building here at Five Mics Studios, hit me up and let's make something happen!
