We’re excited to announce that Amy Diebler, CPA has joined Fleet Feet as Chief Financial Officer. Amy is seasoned and versatile, and leads with a passion for people development and building strong teams. Her financial leadership experience spans public, private, foreign-owned and private equity-backed companies. Amy's responsibilities extend to finance, tax, and treasury functions and provides strategic guidance on long-range planning, policies, accounting procedures, financial modeling, reporting and analysis.    On a personal note, Amy is a Fleet Feet customer and fitness enthusiast. Her commitment to community service is evident from her role on the board of a local non-profit, The Carying Place.    We're excited to welcome Amy to Fleet Feet!

We are thrilled to announce that Kevin Staudt has joined our team as Vice President of Business Operations! Kevin previously served as the Vice President of Finance for a multi-brand restaurant holding company consisting of 340 restaurants across 15 states, leading the finance, planning, analysis, account and business intelligence functions. No stranger to Fleet Feet, Kevin previously spent nearly 14 years with the Fleet Feet Chicago franchise under Dave Zimmer where he started as an Outfitter and worked his way up to leading the day-to-day operations and finance functions of the Chicago franchise. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family and training his dog, Ollie. Welcome back to the Fleet Feet brand, Kevin! 

This week’s employee spotlight shines on Tracen Warnick, Market Manager at Fleet Feet Longmeadow in MA. Tracen keeps all things running smoothly in his market, from recruiting and training staff to running training programs, building community relationships and more. He is enthusiastic about growing the Longmeadow business, and driven to create meaningful experiences for his community through running. While Tracen is an elite runner, he wants runners of all abilities to experience a running community. He is a kind and caring individual who leads his team by the Fleet Feet core value, “Do the Right Thing.” Get to know him: Q: What is your favorite thing about your role? A: I love being involved with the community. There are many charities we are involved with and we partnered with one this summer to provide a 5k training program to underprivileged youth in the area. Q: What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of? A: I created a summer group run program for high school cross country runners. It was fun to see many kids from different high schools who either didn't know each other or were competitors, all coming together to run with each other. Q: Outside of work, tell us how you sweat and live passionately: A: After being a competitive athlete for over a decade I don't run as much as I used to but I still look for ways to challenge myself. Recently my wife and I completed an 8 hour adventure race in Maine that consisted of trail running, mountain biking, and sea kayaking. Q: What’s one thing you wish you’d known when you started working at Fleet Feet or what advice would you give to a newbie? A: I remember being so intimidated that I didn't know every detail of every shoe and I wish I knew that it's okay. The most important skill I look for now is, can you make customers feel good? The shoe knowledge is secondary. Q: What’s one song or artist that you’re embarrassed to admit you like? A: I would say Taylor Swift but to be honest I am not embarrassed about that at all. Q: What’s your most used emoji? A: 😂 The laughing crying face. Q: Walking or running? Or something else? A: Running, of course. If it were socially acceptable I would just run everywhere.
