The late Robert Kaplan, MD, FACP, CMD, a leader in the fields of post-acute and long-term care who passed away last year, was honored posthumously with FMA’s Certificate of Appreciation at Annual Meeting last month. Board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics, Dr. Kaplan was a longtime FMA member who served as President of the Florida Medical Directors Association–Florida Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (FMDA), Chair of the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, and the FMDA’s delegate within the FMA House of Delegates. 💙
