“Mom, how old are you in mommy years?” This sweet question from my son, who turned 10 yesterday, stopped me in my tracks. It’s hard to believe a whole decade has passed since I first became a mother. In those “mommy years,” I’ve grown, learned, and faced countless challenges—each one shaping me into the person I am today. His milestone birthday is not just a celebration of his life, but also a reminder of the incredible journey of motherhood that inspired me to create Flourish Care. The experiences, the love, and the resilience I’ve gained as a mother are what drive me every day to support other families through their own unique journeys. As I reflect on these past 10 years, I’m filled with gratitude—for my son, for the lessons learned, and for the opportunity to channel my passion into Flourish Care.
