⚠️Uncontrolled EV charging could strain the electrical grid⚠️ 🎤Join Shuo Zhang ’s (University College Dublin) presentation at Sustainable Places Conference 2024. It will be on-site tomorrow at 11:00 AM. ✍️Zhuo will base his speech on the article "Home Energy Optimization using Vehicle-to-Home", which he co-wrote with Terence O'Donnell (UCD) . 🚗🔌🏡During the event Shuo will explain the benefits of Vehicle to Home (V2H). This system allows EV batteries to power homes by shifting energy usage from peak to off-peak times, easing grid stress. Ireland's Climate Action Plan aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 51% by 2030. The electrification of transport through more Electric Vehicles (EVs) is essential to achieve a greener future 🍃 #V2H #EVCharge #SmartGrid
