The #FNBO #Marketing team recently had an inspiring day together! They heard from two of our incredible leaders, David Cota, Executive Vice President, and Anthony Cerasoli, Senior Vice President of Treasury, who shared valuable insights. The team also had the pleasure of touring No More Empty Pots, where they learned how they support budding culinary entrepreneurs and students as they pursue their passion and grow their skills. The day wrapped up with some engaging tabletop discussions, sparking new ideas and excitement for what's ahead. Oh, and a fun surprise visit from Wildlife Encounters, a nonprofit dedicated to educating the public about the natural world! #FNBO #InspiringInnovation

The reporting deadline for the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) is looming. The act requires many businesses to disclose Beneficial Ownership Information, and there are significant civil and criminal penalties for noncompliance. We recommend that all businesses contact their attorney or accountant to determine their reporting obligations under the CTA and to obtain assistance with fulfilling the obligations. Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the contributions of small business owners like Jose Palomares. Jose and his wife, Teresa, own Carniceria El Pueblito, a thriving grocery store and butcher shop in South Omaha. Known for its freshly cut meats, the store is so popular that before summer grilling holidays, lines often stretch out the door. Jose opened his first Nebraska business, a restaurant, more than 20 years ago. But his true dream was to open a grocery store and carnicería. Today, Carniceria El Pueblito offers authentic hot foods, fresh produce, quality meats and all the ingredients families need for delicious, nutritious meals. Driven by their entrepreneurial spirit, Jose and Teresa now own two grocery stores, two restaurants and a coffee shop across Omaha and Lincoln. At FNBO, we’re proud to support the Palomares and their passion for serving others. #HispanicHeritageMonth #SupportSmallBusiness #ShopLocal
