    COVID was tough but the COVID hangover is the gift that keeps giving. Every industry that had a boom is now in a hangover: 🕹️ Gaming 🏥 Healthcare 🚴♀️ Exercise 🚚 Supply Chain 💻 EdTech They have all woken up to a migraine of falling revenues and ballooning costs. The struggle is real – most simply responded to the market demand by hiring in new, and more expensive talent. Others raised significant funding on the idea that we’d spend the rest of our days on zoom while riding an exercise bike! Hindsight’s 20/20 and yet another reminder that a “hockey stick” forecast rarely delivers. We've seen so many mass layoffs and even some companies go under. It’s time for a new strategy, or just find the next bubble (AI anyone?) Are you seeing this trend, too??

    If you are currently hiring... There's #1 piece of advice you need to hear right now ↓ Don’t waste time ⏰ If you really like a candidate, you need to move fast. Because if you can see the star-quality from a mile away, so can every other company the candidate is interviewing with. And believe us, if this candidate is talking to you, they are talking to others as well. Don’t be proud and lose out. Snap them up!

    Lowballing a candidate is like tripping over a dollar to pick up a penny. After so much time invested in screening and interviewing candidates, why risk losing the one you want to save a few bucks? 🤷♂️ If you don’t care much that you might lose them, why are you offering them the job anyway?     “I could fill this position internally, why would I pay a recruiter to help?” We respect this question! Everyone wants to save money, especially during uncertain economic times.
