Launching college students into lifelong Catholic mission.
About us
We’re all on mission together. We’re all here for the same reason. Because of Jesus, our ordinary lives have been transformed in extraordinary ways—and we can’t help but spread that joy. That’s what it means to be a missionary. Together, we can help everyone experience a personal, intimate relationship with Christ through real, life-giving friendships.

Did you know that 206 vocations to the priesthood have come from missionary and student FOCUS alumni? Father Aaron Waldeck, recently ordained priest of the Archdiocese of Kansas City, is one of those alumni! In his interview with The Leaven, he noted that he “began to hear God’s call” to the priesthood at SEEK and other FOCUS conferences. Today we celebrate the feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American to be canonized. As a child, a smallpox epidemic devastated Kateri's tribe, claiming her parents. Scarred by the disease, she was adopted by her uncle, who arranged her marriage at a young age. In 1667, Kateri encountered Jesus through Jesuit priests visiting her tribe, leading her to embrace a life of consecrated virginity despite persecution. She had a profound devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. At 24, Kateri passed away, and witnesses reported her facial scars vanished moments after her death. St. Pope John Paul II canonized her in 1980 due to numerous attributed miracles during her life. Reflecting on her story, remember we are all called to holiness. Our Lord desires sainthood for each of His children. St. Kateri Tekakwitha, pray for us! #focuscatholic
