Our last employee highlight in our Diverse Voices series is Andrea C., Senior Manager of Account Servicing team. She is a first-generation immigrant who's been at FFC for eight years! I oversee the day-to-day of our Customer Service, Collections, and Bilingual Teams. I work closely with the Managers that specialize in each of these departments that make up Account Servicing. Part of my oversight is identifying trends that impact delinquencies and customer experience. I remain open to change as we continue to evolve! In my eight years here, I have been fortunate to learn from many different departments and people. I navigated through Verifications, Loss Prevention, Vendor Management, and finally found Home to Account Servicing. Proud to work for Foundation Finance Company. 📌 How would you describe your relationship with your team and coworkers? We cultivate a positive working environment and encourage teamwork! We are always finding ways to remain connected in this hybrid/remote environment. From promotions from within, to anniversary celebrations, to team bonding events, we foster a fun-working environment with opportunities for growth! The participation and team comradery is very special here and I value everything we have accomplished together. We are a diverse team and have had so much fun learning from others and their traditions.   📌 What are some of the traditions or customs you celebrate within your family? I was born in Mexico and moved to the United States when I was 4 years old. My family and I arrived with little English and little knowledge of this new world to us. We have fully embraced the experience and have found ways to combine the cultures of where we came from and what we have learned living here. We have kept traditions alive through food, which a few of my favorite are Tamales during Christmas, Pozole during cool weather, and Carne Asada for reunions! Always love sharing a piece of cultural dishes at work for others to try! As a first-generation immigrant, I had to learn a new language, adapt to a new country and environment, and always put forth a strong work ethic. As I have evolved in my professional growth, these achievements would not have been possible without the support of so many people - My deepest gratitude goes to my family for their sacrifices for a better life, and to Foundation Finance for their continued support, mentorship, and opportunity. #TeamFFC #HispanicHeritageMonth #DiverseVoices #EmployeeSpotlight

With two years of experience at FFC, Patricia shared how her team nurtured her professional development and contributed to her success. Read more ⤵ Working with this team has only helped me improve and grow within this company. From the 2 years I've been here I have been able to explore the department of Verifications, the role of Customer Service, and evolve into my current role as an Account Servicing Specialist l. 📌 How would you describe your relationship with your team and coworkers? The relationship between our team and coworkers is really a family away from home. We all learn from each other and can share our different cultures and traditions. It is a strong, welcoming community between us all whether in office or remote! Without the leadership from my managers and advice from my colleagues I would not be where I am here today, and I thank FFC for the opportunity and chance given to me. 📌 What are some of the traditions or customs you celebrate within your family? Any favorite food dishes that you or your family make? Some of my favorite memories are simply getting together with my family where they would make the most delicious meals. Chilaquiles, tamales, menudo, and of course the tacos. Getting to share some of these meals at work with everyone is a great way to introduce our culture to our coworkers. Continuing our Diverse Voices series, we chatted with Cesar O, a Customer Service Specialist II. ⬇ In my role I strive to be an asset to Account Services. I like to be an A-TEAM player, be there for my colleagues and help support FFC's new hires! I have been at FFC 10 years and have transition from a grasshopper to a rooster. Meaning have learned a lot and am still learning.
