I never thought I’d find myself in such a difficult place. When I lost a family member to cancer, the funeral expenses, travel, and time off to grieve hit me hard. Already on a fixed income, it felt impossible to manage. I fell into a deep depression, unsure of how to move forward. That’s when Frisco Family Services stepped in. Their support wasn’t just financial—it was emotional, too. They helped me get back on my feet when I didn’t know where to turn. Today, my wife and I volunteer regularly with Frisco Family Services as our way of giving back. We know firsthand what it feels like to need help, and now we want to offer that same support to others in our community. #FriscoFamilyServices #GivingBack #CommunitySupport #MentalHealthMatters #Gratitude

September is Hunger Action Month! In June, we celebrated Hunger Awareness, and now we are urging our community members to step into action and help us PREVENT hunger. This past year we've provided over 724,000 meals to local neighbors in crisis, and we did this with the help of people like YOU who CARE! September is Hunger Action Month, and as the only community food Market (formerly pantry) in Frisco, we are relying on the empathy of our community members to pitch in to help our local neighbors in need. 14% of Frisco ISD students qualify for free-reduced lunches, which means many people we may know are facing hunger. Please consider donating food, making a financial contribution, or dropping in to volunteer. Early Giving Starts Today for NTX Giving Day! As we kick off North Texas Giving Day, it's important to remember that our community is made up of neighbors who are quietly fighting battles that we may not see. Whether it's the struggle to put food on the table, facing unexpected layoffs, or dealing with the rising costs of living due to inflation, these challenges are real, and they need our support. This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 to help those in need right here in our community. Your early donation can make a significant impact and help us reach this target. Key Dates: Early Giving Begins: Sunday, September 1st and goes through September 19th (North Texas Giving Day) Join us in making a difference. Every dollar counts, and your generosity could be the lifeline someone needs. Make your donation here: https://lnkd.in/gGpBWG6J #NTXGivingDay #GiveBack #CommunitySupport #FriscoFamilyServices

We love this! Thank you oh so much for coming out and supporting what means the most to us, our local families in need. These kids came prepared on their first day of school and we have you to thank ❤️
This month, Informativ partnered with Frisco Family Services to help students in crisis get the supplies they need for the school year. Thanks to the generosity of our team members from around the country, we filled our donation box and more! Want to join a company that values giving back? Ms. Smith's story is a powerful reminder of resilience. After escaping domestic violence, she bravely relocated to Frisco, TX, seeking safety for herself and her child. Despite losing her job just months after starting, she refused to give up. "Surviving wasn't just about escaping—it was about finding the courage to rebuild." Navigating a new city, Ms. Smith found hope through Frisco Family Services, where she received crucial support to maintain her housing and rebuild her life. Her journey shows the importance of community support in times of crisis. Today, you can make a difference for someone like Ms. Smith. https://ow.ly/Z0lC50TagFY Thank you for helping create lasting impact.

We are so excited to have Hooters of America as our NEW partner! We also want to take a moment to congratulate Cassidy Welch from Dallas, for being crowned Miss Hooters International 2024! Yesterday, Heather Geoghan and Cassidy came to our campus and donated over 50 cases of sodas to our Market. Hooters is not only about serving great food but also about serving the community with heart. Cassidy embodies this spirit by showing us that true beauty shines from within—through acts of kindness and generosity that make a real difference. #hooters #hootersdallas #misshooters2024 #friscofamilyservices #friscotx #communitycaring
