A year ago, the Frost Methane team installed our offset-producing project on an underground coal mine that shut down over 30 years ago. Despite the shut down and appropriate sealing, methane continued to desorb from the seam and make it to the atmosphere, until this: https://lnkd.in/gh4YJbNN
The tech operated flawlessly through snow storms and heat waves. The remote control features, video steam, remote ignition & sensor calibration, dashboards and meticulous instrumentation allowed us to precisely measure our GHG reduction, and detect & recover from any unusual conditions including outages of the local utility remotely.
Congratulations to the team for a year of operations! Elizabeth Hillstrom, Laughlin Barker, Edwin Chiu, Phil, Curtis Kline, Angela Mitcham, Rogel Mark Pucio, Toby the Best Dog
It’s also been a pleasure to work with the land owners of the site and Chris Caskey who introduced us to the site.
