Our President, Marshall Thomas, who previously received the Wise Owl Award in 2022, had the honor of presenting this award to Jody. Since 1980, The Wise Owl Award has been given to individuals who have devoted their careers to the advancement of the Georgia forestry industry for landowners and businesses. The beautiful hand-carved statue is crafted from native Georgia wood. Please join us in congratulating Jody for achieving GFA's highest honor.

Fountains Forestry team members took on the National Three Peaks Challenge this month to raise money for Cancer Research UK (CRUK). The challenge involved climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England, and Wales. Our team completed this feat over the course of one weekend, walking 23 miles and climbing 10,052 feet in total. Our team's goal was to raise £2,000, and they surpassed that with over £5,000 in donations. We are incredibly proud of these team members who couldn't be stopped even in the cold and snow to raise money for the life-saving work done by Cancer Research UK. 🏔 👏
