What's New in VA News? 📰 🌟Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay plans to open a restaurant called Ramsay’s Kitchen at the $750 million Caesars Virginia casino in Danville by the end of 2024, the casino resort announced Tuesday. Ramsay’s Kitchen will be located adjacent to registration at the resort, steps off the casino floor, and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant will offer more than 250 seating options, including a private dining room and an outdoor patio “with iconic views of Danville’s historic Three Sisters Smokestacks." The project will create 28 new jobs and coincides with Shamrock Farms’ 10th anniversary of operations in the Commonwealth. Shamrock Farms, a fourth-generation, family-owned business established in 1922 in Phoenix, Arizona, has grown into one of the largest family-owned dairy businesses in the nation. The company employs approximately 6,000 people nationwide with two milk manufacturing plants. Last week at the Massanutten Resort, GENEDGE had our semi-annual associates meeting, where everyone from each corner of Virginia came together. Over the action-packed 3 day stay, the GENEDGE team discussed important updates, enjoyed a relaxing dinner overlooking the ski slopes and autumnal colors, and participated in lots of team building activities. We received a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training, discussed the future of Artificial Intelligence, and participated in hands-on Lean Manufacturing simulations and activities.
