Generation Nation is the only non-profit in North Carolina, dedicated to promoting K-12 civic literacy and youth engagement. I joined the organization 8 years ago as a high school sophomore, in June of this year I was elected Vice Chair. My first initiative was reestablishing our Civic Leaders Breakfast and I’m proud of the amazing work our team and students have done to bring this event to life. Special thank you to our Executive Director Amy Farrell for all of her amazing work and dedication to our mission!

🏛🍳The GenerationNation Civic Leaders Breakfast was a wonderful example of the strength of community investment. This organization supports youth on their journeys of developing civic literacy and leadership. When Amy Farrell reached out to me about this sponsorship request, there was so much synergy. While I didn't realize until yesterday morning's event that Albemarle was the top sponsor, it was a beautiful realization! ✨️ As a Charlotte native, who studied political science for four years in college and worked in local government for over 5 years, I know firsthand skills learned in that space are immeasurable. Yet, it was even more evident yesterday after listening to testimonials. 📜 The GenerationNation students have soaked in the lessons learned, continue to thrive in school, and make it a point to stay connected in the program to pour back into new students.
