New Welding Table! Our new welding table has been delivered and assembled, and is now ready for use in the metal shop. This has been on the list of upgrades for a while. The new table and clamps will allow builders many more options for securing their workpieces which should allow for more precise work and less distortion as the workpiece is heated and cooled. Word on the street is that the first person to accidentally weld something to the table will be subject to severe penalty...... Just Kidding! Generator is where you come to make mistakes, and through making mistakes learn new skills. Come learn with us!

Thank you to everyone in the community that made a donation this past weekend. We didn't quite hit our goal of $3000, but we got close enough, and we will be adding new sheet metal tools (a magnetic break and a shear) to the metal shop. Stay tuned... We will be sure to update everyone once the tools have been received and we have figured out where to put them in the metal shop. We will also need to incorporate these new tools into our tool trainings. So, there's still work to be done. In the meantime... It really means a lot to see the community come together and support something like this. It's a reminder of how fortunate we are to have the community we do. Thank you for being awesome!
