We are dedicated to A Healthy Georgia!

The Georgia Department of Community Health is one of Georgia’s four health agencies serving the state’s growing population of over 10 million people.

We serve as the lead agency for Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids® programs, and we oversee the State Health Benefit Plan, Healthcare Facility Regulation Division and State Office of Rural Health. Through these efforts, our work impacts one in four Georgians – that’s approximately 2.5 million people! We have offices in Atlanta and Cordele, but our employees can be found all across the state.
