That way ... you can zoom into how you communicate your skills AND also be able to create proof of work as evidence that you can solve that one problem. If you didn't get the results you wanted, you know exactly how you need to improve - getting better in solving the problems that they are hiring solutions for. Here are the 5 employers for the 59 junior 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 📌 Affirm Prompt Therapy Solutions Inc Pronto WHOOP minware We've researched them for you and organized them on a Notion sheet - provided in the comments section! This is how to use our research for each job best - based on the columns in the sheet: 1️⃣ Who’s hiring? (Name of the company) 2️⃣ What are they building? (This is to understand what you will help support when you join the company) 3️⃣ Where? (Location of the job) 4️⃣ What role player are they looking for? (You’ll be working in a team, and knowing what role you will play matters.) 5️⃣ What would they need help with? (Employers need proof of work before they hire you as help. These are situations they would want you to be familiar with solving problems) 6️⃣ Use an AI job search team to help you brainstorm a solution and get eyeballs on your ideas (AI can help you out. I learned a few critical things about building a solid portfolio after graduating from Hack Reactor #bootcamp. I used to build a lot of projects for my portfolio, thinking they would help with my job search. Building projects are great ... but after a lot of 'no responses' 🫠 I began to ponder ... how exactly does it help with my job search? 🤔 𝗠𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲: 1️⃣ It's supposed to improve my experience 2️⃣ It's supposed to get me exposure from hiring teams 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀: I got a little bit of 1️⃣ and none of the 2️⃣. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝘃𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀🥂 𝘄𝗮𝘀 … … building something that companies are willing to hire for 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲... Camlist is a Pet Adoption and Rehoming business. It is currently looking to hire a Software Quality Engineer (Senior / Junior). Building something (idea/process/app/prototype) that can ... identify and fix the root causes of app crashes during transactions for the benefit of pet owners and pet service providers ... would greatly help your case for this job 𝗠𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: By building something that focuses on these problems like these, I got both 1️⃣ and 2️⃣

    • Screenshot of junior position from Camlist. There are 2 ways you can show proof of work for the open position of Software Quality Engineer - (Senior / Junior).

Select one of the problems:

1) Identify and fix the root causes of app crashes during transactions -
For pet owners and pet service providers, we need to identify and fix the root causes of app crashes during transactions in order to prevent loss of user trust, leading to decreased transactions and reduced platform credibility among pet owners and service providers.

2) Enhance feature discoverability and usability within the app -
For pet owners looking for services or items, we need to enhance feature discoverability and usability within the app in order to prevent wasted resources on features that do not contribute to user engagement or satisfaction, potentially leading to a decrease in app usage over time.

Create a proof of work for either of these problems and it'll increase your chances of landing this job.
