Yesterday, our Denver community gathered for the 1st Annual Sander Bike Build to honor the life and legacy of our friend, Steve Sander, who we lost to suicide one year ago. Steve’s heart was as big as his passion for giving back. In partnership with Wish for Wheels, members of our leadership team including Laura Love, Ramonna Robinson, Jon Woods, Jim Licko and Kristina Reilly joined others to build and donate bikes to the 2nd graders at McMeen Elementary. As we reflect on the past year without Steve, we are reminded of the importance of checking in on one another. Everyone is facing battles we may not see.    Be kind. Always.   #SanderBikeBuild #WishForWheels #BeKindAlways

Colorado Nonprofit Association had a huge email list and valuable content to share with their audience. So why were their open and click through rates so low? Kathleen Deal explains how we managed a strategic overhaul of their newsletter that resulted in nearly double the open rates and triple the engagement rates. Our founding partner just returned from the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Leadership Exchange in Charlotte and the insights are worth sharing. From economic mobility challenges to powerful public-private partnerships, Charlotte’s transformation shows the impact leaders can have when they unite for a common cause. #LEXCharlotte

The Power of Collaboration and Intention: It took me a week or so to reflect on the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Leadership Exchange trip to Charlotte, NC. 160-ish Denver leaders flew into a literal hurricane and had two-and-a-half days of programming to learn how Charlotte is tackling some of society’s toughest issues, with the goal of bringing some of that knowledge back to benefit our collective hometown/region. After a not-so-short round of applause for our flight crew landing us safely, one of the first things we heard about was a 2014 “Land of Opportunity” economic mobility study released by Economist Raj Chetty. The study ranked the 50 largest U.S. cities based on the ability of a person/household/group to improve upon their economic status over time. Charlotte came in dead last in the study - #50 out of 50. For some Charlotteans, the 2014 study came as a shock; for others, it confirmed what they already knew. But instead of debating its validity or placing blame, Charlotte’s leaders got to work. Public-private partnerships were formed, corporations stepped up with philanthropy and voters passed billion-dollar bonds to fund affordable housing, education, childcare and transportation initiatives. Now, ten years later, a subsequent study was released moving Charlotte up 12 places on the list to #38. What’s more, nearly every speaker we heard from acknowledged that the work won’t be done until they’re #1 on that list. True leaders don’t like settling for less than being #1, and true leaders also know they can’t get there alone. Collaboration is vital. I enjoy these LEX trips because they’re purposefully built to get Denver leaders out of their day-to-day work and give them a chance to be intentional about finding solutions collaboratively with other like-minded leaders. It’s truly where the magic happens. Kudos to the people of Charlotte, and if you read this far, thank you! Let’s find a way to collaborate on some meaningful work sometime soon. #LEXCharlotte

TikTok just made a game-changing move with their new Search Ads, reflecting the rapidly growing trend of Gen Z and Millennials using TikTok as their go-to search engine. With 57% of users already utilizing TikTok’s search function, brands can now tailor content based on search intent and discovery—potentially boosting conversions by 20%.   But time is ticking—TikTok faces a potential U.S. ban in January, and even Google is navigating legal challenges. Now’s the moment to diversify your search strategy. Don't limit your brand's reach to traditional search engines. We're helping clients tap into new audiences on TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and even large language models (LLMs).   Is your organization ready to expand its digital footprint and meet your audience where they are?

What a night! As gala season winds down, we were honored to attend two amazing events supporting two of our clients: Child Advocates-Denver CASA's End of Summer Soiree and Tennyson Center for Children’s Q & Groove. At Q & Groove, we soaked up a live performance by rising star Jonah Kagen at Mile High Station. We also celebrated with Denver CASA at Ellie Caulkins Opera House. A fun surprise of the night was walking with a personalized whiskey tasting hosted by Jake Norris, founding head distiller at current GFM|CenterTable client Stranahans Colorado Whiskey and Laws Whiskey House.    As longtime partners and volunteers with both organizations focused on making Colorado a better place for children and families, we’re proud to support the incredible work they do in our community.

Huge thanks to Girl Scouts of Colorado for honoring 10 exceptional women who have demonstrated remarkable leadership and dedication to empowering women and girls in our community. Special thanks to Elsa Holguin for recognizing Ramonna’s impact and nominating her for this honor. We’re grateful to all our friends, colleagues and the incredible (and adorable) Girl Scouts who came out in their best Girl Scout Green to celebrate this milestone. Here’s to continuing the work of uplifting and empowering women and girls across Colorado!
