As Glendale Country Club (Bellevue WA) approached its centennial, members sought to reinvigorate their clubhouse, honoring its legacy while shaping a more connected, contemporary experience. A refined palette, curated lighting, and seamless spatial flow create a dynamic social hub. A reimagined double-sided fireplace anchors the dining and bar areas, introducing comfortable lounge seating. 2025 started off strong with the completion of Swell, our newest multifamily asset comprised of 200 units in the vibrant, mixed-use urban neighborhood of Yesler Terrace. New Project Announcement: We have started construction on NE 120th ETOD, which will be two affordable housing buildings in Bellevue’s Spring District, that will serve low-income families in King County. The project is directly adjacent to Sound Transit’s newly opened Bel Spring Station and will include 84 dwelling units in the north building with amenity spaces and a parking garage, and 150 dwelling units in the south building with a single story below-grade parking structure and amenity spaces. GGLO Celebrates NAIOP Washington State Night of the Stars Award Win! We’re excited to share that AvalonBay Communities, Avalon Bothell Commons has been recognized as Multi-Family Residential Suburban Development of the Year! Once home to the Seattle Times newspaper printing site, this project is a catalyst for transformation. This award highlights our commitment to sustainable, community-focused design. • Mixed-Density Community – a mix of 467 apartment flats and townhomes, the residential buildings flank a Central Park and are designed in a variety and scales to encourage the idea that this neighborhood was built over time. • Sustainable Design - The iconic mass-timber amenity building sits at the head of the park and serves as a visual culmination of the Central Park axis. The hybrid mass-timber construction approach is both a pioneering move for AvalonBay, and the project type.
