Last Wednesday, Gleam NSR partner Stad Mechelen kicked off the GREEN-LOG pilot project 👏 Around 80 participants from the Tervuursesteenweg district will be testing a new delivery platform in the coming months. The project will investigate how to steer consumers towards more sustainable delivery options using nudging techniques and dynamic pricing as part of efforts to achieve emission-free deliveries by 2030. We heard from the cities of Gemeente Rotterdam, City of Aarhus, and stad Leuven about their experiences mapping the urban logistics landscapes in their cities and how they are collecting data. We cannot talk about green #urbanlogistics without including #cargobikes. A new analysis has found that from 2022 and 2023, cargo bike use rose by an impressive 73% percent in London's square mile and by 63% across London as a whole. Few other modes of transport are able to our cities and their logistics in such a short period of time!
