And here's what makes my job so rewarding... At the end of June, we completed a water retrofit project at our Wood Hollow Apartments in Dallas, managed by Greystar. Led on behalf of Stoneweg US, LLC by Andrew Bilodeau, this initiative was our first project with ecofi, and the early results are in. 🔮💧💚 We conserved 700,000 gallons of water in our first full month—that’s like turning off two garden hoses that have been running non-stop, day and night. ⛲🥳🦆 We take a thoughtful approach to selecting fixtures, prioritizing resident experience as well as specifying they must be USEPA #WaterSense certified. I personally tested showerheads at home and the Niagara Conservation ones we installed I still continue to use everyday, because it's not only economical, but it’s a quality product and experience. Knowing firsthand how effective and comfortable these fixtures are, it’s no surprise that our residents are pleased with the upgrade. 🚿🛀🤗 Wood Hollow has already seen a $2,500 reduction in our water bills versus the average in the first month. I'll let you annualize and cap it, but not bad for a Monday! But keeping it honest, it’s a strong start, but we’ll better understand the trend after three months. 🌊💸📊 Stoneweg US part of the Better Buildings #WaterSavingsNetwork, and we use tools like Conservice 's Efficiency Projects feature, shown in the screenshot I’m sharing, to help us track our progress.
