Good Sports is THRILLED to announce that we have been awarded a Louder than Words grant from the JD Finish Line Youth Foundation to support our She Who Plays initiative! 🥳🏃♀️🎊 With the FINISH LINE YOUTH FOUNDATION INC support, we can close the opportunity gap that exists in youth sports and ensure ALL girls have equitable access to sports and play opportunity. Their support is more than donating new gear to girls – it’s about building girls’ confidence, emotional and mental health, and the leadership skills needed to be successful on the field and in life. 👏 💚 Thank you, Finish Line Youth Foundation! 💙

This #ThankfulThursday we'd like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Yawkey Foundation and Good Sports, Inc. for their incredible generosity and community spirit! Together, they have donated a plethora of baseball equipment to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South to ensure our young athletes can enjoy a game they love with the proper gear! Your dedication to supporting our members is truly inspiring! Our programs in sports and recreation at BGCMS are designed to help keep our members active while promoting positive use of leisure time, developing their athleticism, teaching them healthy coping skills, and strengthening their social skills through their participation in team-oriented activities. Donations like this directly helps to empower our members to engage in physical activity and fosters a passion for sports! Thank you! ⚾️💙 #BGCMetroSouth #GreatFutures #ThankfulThursday #ThankYou

We are thrilled to share that Curtis Granderson, aka “Grandyman”, former MLB outfielder and philanthropic leader for several non-profit organizations – the Grand Kids Foundation, Grand Giving and Chicago Baseball & Educational Academy will be joining us for a fireside chat at Chicago Legends on Thursday September 19th. While the three-time MLB All-Star and Roberto Clemente Award winner played in many cities throughout his career, he was born and raised in Chicago and it’s the city he calls home. His passion for fostering deeper community connections in Chicago, while working to diversify the sport, is paving the way for more young kids to learn and grow through baseball. To get tickets and be a part of this incredible conversation, please visit https://lnkd.in/eTHQ894c.

We continue to be blown away by our partnership with The Lids Foundation. Thanks to their continued support, nearly an additional 2,500 young athletes from coast to coast...literally from Portland to NYC...have received the equipment they need to continue to play the sports they love. And as if this couldn't be any cooler, the Lids Foundation and Good Sports were able to support 9 different sports including handball, lacrosse, and track!
