About us
Good Tidings Foundation is a non-profit, children's charity that encourages and supports the growth of marginalized children in Northern California by creating environments for athletics, artistic activities, education, and wonder. We believe that every child deserves the access and the means to pursue their dreams. The Good Tidings Foundation aims to provide opportunities that otherwise would be unavailable to kids regardless of their financial status, ethnic origin, or religion. Our programs allow children to play, create, and dream. Since 1995, Good Tidings has completed 200+ projects, awarded $1.8 million in education scholarships, and gifted over 70k+ toys to low-income families and youths.

Last week, we celebrated the completion of our newest project, the Phil Lesh Music Studio at Eastside College Prep! Guests at the celebration were treated to a performance from the Eastside Prep student and alumni band as well as treats from Mister Softee Ice Cream. Thank you to MBH Architects, W.L.Butler Construction, Doherty Restoration, and Phil Lesh for all their hard work in making this space come to life. We can’t wait to hear the incredible music that the students will create in the studio!

In collaboration with the Good Tidings Foundation, MBH helped transform another space into a vibrant place for students to learn and appreciate the arts! Returning to the Eastside College Preparatory School in East Palo Alto, CA, where MBH previously designed the LeRoy Neiman Art Studio, we designed a psychedelic new music studio inspired by the legacy of Phil Lesh, founding member of the Grateful Dead. Last week's opening ceremony was a joyous event with performances from the school's student band. MBH Founder and Good Tidings board member John McNulty was in attendance with the MBH dynamic duo behind the design, Project Manager and Senior Associate Tammy Ng, LEED AP BD˖C Ng and Designer Da Huo. #MBHArchitects #architecture #MBHProjects #renovation #design #designer #PhilLesh #GratefulDead #PaloAlto #MusicStudio

Welcome to the Rogers Brothers Junior Giants Field! Last week, we unveiled our 29th Junior Giants Field in partnership with the Giants Community Fund This project brought us out to the amazing community of Suisun City. This was a unique project for us as we built the field completely from scratch. All improvements including the fencing, concrete, sod, and dirt are all the same materials used at Oracle Park. We included some special finishing touches such as custom dugout signs with the left side dugout aptly named Taylor’s Dugout with the right side dubbed Tyler’s Dugout. The new field also includes bases that were actually used during a Giants home game at Oracle Park. Thank you to the team at Robert A. Bothman Construction who has been working with us to build these fields for over 25 years. We hope the kids of Suisun City love their new field and that it inspires a few future big leaguers!
