We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone alongside the Superintendent of San Francisco Unified School District , our incredible partners Amazon, and the The Y (YMCA). I am in awe of Jasmine Crowe-Houston's vision and leadership in tackling food waste through the creation of GoodrCo. It was a privilege to discuss how we are and can continue to collaborate on this crucial issue at GBTA | Global Business Travel Association in Atlanta last month. I’m also grateful for leaders like Sharon Kilmartin, the GM at Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia, who took the bold step of being the first IHG hotel to pilot Goodr. Two years later, they are still successfully using Goodr to deliver excess food to those in need. Kudos to Leslie Andrews, MS-HTM, GLP for doing an exceptional job in framing and facilitating the discussion!

Since 2020, Wellstar has teamed up with GoodrCo. to provide a series of Wellstar Mobile Markets, allowing Wellstar and our partners to address food insecurity and promote healthy lifestyle habits. The markets have helped over 16,000 families and more than 48,000 individuals. Each event serves about 100 households and is supported by Goodr, Wellstar team members and volunteers. At the start of 2024, the teams completed 32 markets, and the program will return in October with an additional eight markets. Learn more at wellstarmobilemarket.com.

This year, we did something special to mark Goodr Day!💚✨ For those who may not know, Goodr received a proclamation in 2019 from the now Mayor of Atlanta, Andre Dickens recognizing our impactful work within the community. To celebrate, we delivered 711 meal packs (2133 meals) to youth centers, seniors, and more. We also teamed up with Shipt earlier in the week to host a pop-up grocery store, giving 150 families a week's worth of FREE groceries. Atlanta means everything to us. We've provided millions of meals, diverted food from landfills, and recycled tons of organic waste. Thank you, Atlanta, for believing in us and supporting our mission.
