GRAEF’s Mellissa Hershberger was recently a guest speaker at Purdue University’s Theme Park Engineering and Design Club!   As a proud Purdue alumna, she shared her journey from graduating with a Civil Engineering degree to working at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Creative. Mellissa shared insight into the roles of structural engineers in themed entertainment, the importance of engineering codes, and the interdisciplinary nature of project engineering. The ribbon is cut! 🎉✂️ We're excited to announce the official opening of the Village of Germantown's brand-new Department of Public Works facility! This state-of-the-art building is designed to improve the Village’s ability to serve the community with efficient, effective public works operations. "With more space, better technology, and a central location, we can now respond faster and more efficiently to the needs of our residents," said Matt Mortwedt, Director of Public Works. We are pleased to share that Pat Kressin has been appointed as the new President of GRAEF, marking the beginning of our fourth generation of leadership. Pat has been with the firm since 1995, contributing significantly to major projects such as BAYSHORE, Komatsu South Harbor Campus, Discovery World, and the Milwaukee Art Museum. As we look ahead to the future under Pat’s leadership, we also extend our deep appreciation to John Kissinger for his outstanding service and leadership for over a decade. John will continue as CEO until his retirement, at which point Pat will assume both roles. We look forward to continuing to serve our clients with the same dedication and excellence that has always defined GRAEF.

We’re honored to celebrate the City of West Bend for receiving the 2024 Best Practice Award from the American Planning Association - Wisconsin Chapter for the Downtown and Streetscape Master Plan! GRAEF had the privilege of collaborating with the City and private sector leaders to develop a forward-thinking plan that builds on the success of recent downtown projects like the Riverwalk and historic Main Street reconstruction. This plan will continue to guide West Bend’s growth, vibrancy, and future development.
