GLCAC recently received a generous donation of 120 warm winter jackets through a partnership between Operation Warm and SUBARU OF AMERICA INC. Operation Warm is a nonprofit agency that manufactures their own new coats and shoes for children in need. A special thanks goes out to David from North Reading Subaru for delivering this donation, which will help families in Greater Lawrence stay warm this winter. These jackets also provide a sense of dignity and comfort to those facing financial hardship. #SubaruLovestoHelp #OperationWarm

Employees from GLCAC’s Health Care Navigator program were honored to take part in an event at the State House yesterday highlighting the availability of health insurance enrollment support to local residents. The Massachusetts Health Connector, state lawmakers, and representatives from more than a dozen community organizations from across the Commonwealth discussed the importance of enrolling in coverage just days before the end of this year’s Open Enrollment period on Jan. 23.
