Congratulations to our Chief Development Officer, Vicki Jaramillo, on being one of the first-ever recipients of the Rosie Award presented at the Experience Kissimmee’s 10th anniversary celebration. Inspired by the rare and beautiful Roseate Spoonbill, a bird native to the Kissimmee area, the Rosie Award honors exceptional leaders in tourism. Vicki’s leadership as Board Chair with Experience Kissimmee, from 2020-2022, especially during the pandemic, was key in Osceola County’s growth as a top destination. We’re proud to see her recognized for her remarkable contributions.

We'd like to take a moment to recognize our Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team - each year, ARFF holds a t-shirt fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with the proceeds supporting a local organization. We're pleased to announce this year's drive raised just over $2,200 for Libby's Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation of Orlando. A big thank you to all who participated to help a great cause! 💗

Exciting news! The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is moving forward with constructing a Consolidated Rental Car (ConRAC) facility at MCO. GOAA will soon issue Requests for Statements of Design/Build and Program Qualifications. The new facility aims to support our Strategic Plan, which focuses on the Connection Pillar. It will improve connectivity by centralizing rental car operations, reducing congestion on airport roadways and the airport, and adding approximately 4,500 parking spaces.
