Transcending borders, Native American and Indigenous peoples continue to be leading environmental experts. This Native American Heritage Month, we honor a legacy of ancestral ecological knowledge and commit ourselves to Indigenous-led conservation and land back. We are also reflecting on the languages we're losing, homes being stolen, and the attempts to erase traditional practices. At Green 2.0, we're rooting for Native American and Indigenous resistance.

Equity in the workplace starts with onboarding, and we couldn’t agree more! Give us your thoughts in the comments below. We learned from the best at our most recent event, Communicating Effectively to Advance Equity, on integrating equity in communication. Our panelists and moderator Celía Burke, J. Aniece Adams, Dana Johnson, and Karina Ramírez dropped some gems. Here’s a quote from Dana Johnson, Green 2.0 Board Member and Chief Movement Advisor at Strategic Movement Collaborative. “I think [integrating equity in an organization] starts with the onboarding process, when you bring people into an organization you set expectations for how [you expect them] to move, operate, and what they can expect from you as an organization.” Our next event is November 13th, discussing the importance of equitable mentoring.
