When disaster hits, data is everything. But how do we get it safely? Bayonet AUGVs (a product of Greensea IQ) are at the forefront of transforming how post-disaster data is collected. These autonomous systems can gather precise information from dangerous areas where it’s too risky to send a human team. David Pearson will cover real-world case studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of AUGVs in high-risk environments, from floodwaters to surf zones during Underwater Intervention next week. Find out how this tech can help improve disaster recovery in your operations. 🔗 Session details here: https://hubs.li/Q02VTT9Q0 or find us during WorkBoat/Underwater Intervention at booth 3901. #DataDriven #RecoveryTech #AUGVs

🌊 Post-disaster recovery is tough. But what if it could make it safer? In disaster recovery areas, safety is key, but it’s hard to ensure when conditions are extreme. Join our presentation, Enhancing Data & Safety for Post Disaster Recovery Areas with Autonomous Underwater Ground Vehicles (AUGV) by David Pearson for WorkBoat/Underwater Intervention. Learn how Bayonet AUGVs (a product of Greensea IQ) are keeping humans out of harm’s way while delivering faster, more reliable survey results. 🔗Session details: https://hubs.li/Q02VZ4HB0 Visit our stand, #3901, to speak to us about putting an AUGV to work post disaster.

Greensea IQ proudly accepted The Plymouth Foundation's Anchor Institution Award accepted today at the Blue Future Conference 2024 taking place at Hotel 1620 in Plymouth, MA. Nick Hartman accepted the award on Greensea IQ's behalf. We are so proud of how far we've come since first opening our doors in Plymouth back in 2020. That small outpost is now home to nearly 50 employees and houses our 25,000 square foot production facility for Bayonet AUGVs (a product of Greensea IQ) and EverClean (a service of Greensea IQ) robotics. Is your hull cleaning method in line with international regulations? Both Australia and New Zealand have stringent anti-fouling guidelines, allowing for the removal of microfouling without full containment of biofouling waste, provided the cleaning method is gentle and non-abrasive. EverClean’s technology adheres to these regulations, ensuring that you can maintain compliance while effectively cleaning your ship’s hull. Staying compliant not only protects the environment but also helps avoid costly delays or fines. Ensure your hull cleaning method complies with international guidelines—opt for a non-abrasive, proactive solution like EverClean. Talk to one of our EverClean team to learn more about how regular cleaning of biofouling is the safest way to combat the transfer of invasive species. https://hubs.li/Q02T5wN70 #Compliance #EcoShipping #RegulationReady

📣We’re thrilled to announce a new project to build two next-gen, remotely-operated underwater vehicles to support growing demand for ocean research, exploration, and restoration! With generous support from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) & the NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, our engineering teams are gearing up for design and construction in partnership with Greensea IQ Expected to be fully available for the scientific community by 2027, the mid-sized “mROVs” will be capable of reaching depths of 4000 meters (nearly 2.5 miles). Technology such as cameras, lights, manipulator arms, and mission-specific sensors and samplers will be added as needed. 📲Learn more about this exciting development in ocean engineering: go.whoi.edu/mrov 📸 Concept rendering by Dave Fustino, ETHO Design #NSFfunded #NOAAfunded

Greensea IQ's offices are closed today. For the office in Vermont, it's closed for Indigenous Peoples' Day, the Massachusetts office refers to it as Columbus Day. The second Monday in October isn't a holiday across the board for everyone in the USA as you can see in the map below. To make it even more confusing, you may notice the asterisk by VT: * While the second Monday in October is a legal holiday in Vermont (called Indigenous Peoples' Day), collective bargaining agreements allow state employees to use it as a floating holiday. Happy Monday, all!
