To further advance our initiative to be Safer, Smarter, and Stronger in 2025, we are excited to welcome Jay Burleson to Gregory Construction as our Director of People. Jay is a highly accomplished professional with a master's degree in Pastoral Counseling and dual certifications in Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). With experience across diverse industries, including transportation and manufacturing, Jay has developed a strong expertise in leadership, organizational development, and workforce management. In addition to his corporate achievements, Jay is deeply committed to faith-based service and community outreach. He serves as a chaplain, is an active member of The Gideons International, and holds a position on the board of directors for Restoring Hope Ministries. His background in pastoral counseling equips him with a unique perspective on leadership, employee well-being, and ethical decision-making, making him a trusted advisor in both corporate and ministry settings. Beyond his professional and ministry pursuits, Jay values family, fitness, and an active lifestyle. He and his wife, Jennifer, participate in running, cycling, and triathlon events, embracing both the physical and mental challenges of endurance sports. They have five sons—Cale, Parker, Reid, Kinsly, and Brittain—and are huge fans of Mississippi State Athletics. With a passion for leadership, people development, and service Jay continues to make a meaningful impact in every organization and community he serves. He will be instrumental in shaping and executing our strategy to recruit, develop, grow, and retain the best workforce in our industry. He will also play a critical role in how we live out our mission to Improve Lives While We Build the Future with our employees. #GregoryConstruction
