AI models, particularly large language models (LLMs), excel at tasks like question-answering and decision-making, but they struggle with multi-step reasoning. But with a new technique called #Reflection we can help AI simulate a human like thought process. We released a new synthetic GSM8k dataset to test Reflection vs. standard inference for AI reasoning tasks. The results? Reflection outperforms in 84% of evaluations. More details in the blog. https://lnkd.in/e-k6wPDK #opendata #reflection #AI

Been thinking: the future of AI boils down to talent + compute + data. Models, methods, and even techniques like agents and chains are just ways we mix those ingredients. Betting on talent alone isn't enough; solving for data and compute is key. Long-term success in AI won't come from the latest models or methods but from mastering these core elements. That's how dominant AI businesses will stand the test of time.

This is a great walkthrough on the easiest way to fine-tune an LLM and run it locally with Ollama. It covers how to fine-tune Llama 3.1 using Gretel's synthetic data for text-to-code transformations, enhancing the model's ability to generate code from textual descriptions, and leverage NVIDIA's #CUDA to accelerate the training process, and significantly reducing fine-tuning time. Also, it highlights how to utilize the open-source Unsloth repository to streamline the fine-tuning on our SQL dataset and walks-through data preparation, model training, and deploying the model locally with Ollama.

Great to see Gretel’s Text-to-SQL dataset being used to fine-tune an LLM. 🤩 As the demo shows, when using a relevant, task-specific dataset, you can build smaller, faster models that rival the giants. 🎥 Watch the demo: https://bit.ly/4gIOQve Model Training Tools 🛠️ Gretel Dataset: https://bit.ly/4eD24Yl Ollama: https://bit.ly/3zBOPbG Unsloth: https://bit.ly/4gERqlP 👏 Big thanks to the folks at Warp for making the demo.
