Guha PLLC joins the nation in observing Juneteenth, which marks the day in 1865 when news of freedom and liberation finally reached Galveston, Texas more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Today serves as both celebration of the country's progress toward racial equality and justice, and reflection of the work that remains to be done.

On Saturday, Guha PLLC Founding Partner and South Asian Youth Action (SAYA) Board Chair Samidh Guha celebrated SAYA's 28th Anniversary Gala (see: https://lnkd.in/g8ZuckzH) with an evening of inspiration, philanthropy, reflection, and dancing. "The generosity of our supporters... will advance SAYA's important work in a profound and transformative way," Samidh announced to nearly 400 guests. "Together, we are creating a lasting impact in our communities." Kelly has enjoyed a stellar legal career since her graduation from Georgetown University Law Center, and we are thrilled to add her litigation expertise and judgment. She recently concluded her clerkship with the Honorable Robert R. Reed of the New York State Supreme Court in the prestigious Commercial Division. Prior to her clerkship, Kelly served as the first chair in numerous litigations on behalf of clients in the public sector, leading an array of court proceedings, evidentiary hearings, and legal arguments. Prior to law school, she studied Political Science and Arabic at the University of Notre Dame, where she was a Rhodes Scholarship finalist and actively engaged in numerous pro bono efforts.
