We are excited to lace up our sneakers, get our heart rates up, and make a difference by supporting the American Heart Association in their 2024 First Coast Heart Walk on Oct. 5! Our Harvey’s Heartbeats team will be walking for its fourth year in a row. This is a wonderful opportunity for US to come together and walk for a cause to help in the fight against heart disease. Stay tuned to see how we’re supporting the AHA leading up to the Heart Walk! 

Earlier this week, GuideWell awarded US the Circle of Excellence Award for setting the standard for making our values come to life. Our values are critical to what we do, and our winning culture guides US through each day so we can take care of the people we love. Thank you to Pat Geraghty and the GuideWell Enterprise for this recognition, and thank you to our 2,400 team members who care deeply about what we do, those we serve and one another. Congratulations!

Ready, set, action! This week we rolled out the teal carpet for our It’s Showtime! town halls. Our family of companies gathered for some popcorn, trivia, and a little summertime fun! As the cameras rolled, we shared updates and got to see close-ups of US in our favorite sun-soaked activities. We want to thank our team members for making our town halls a blockbuster!

We are celebrating National Financial Awareness Day! Today is an important reminder to take control of your financial well-being. We are proud to partner with Fidelity Investments to provide our team members with resources that support their financial wellness. From budgeting all the way to planning for the future, we want to set our team members up for success!

Today we held our Lunch and Learn for Internal Mobility and explored the processes that equip our team members with the skills they need for professional development and career advancement. Our family of companies is committed to the personal and professional growth of our team members by fostering an environment that they can thrive in!

Today is the International Day of Friendship! Our Connecting US workgroup wanted to explore the power of connection and friendship within US. We asked some of our team members “Why is friendship at work important?” Overwhelmingly what was shared was that friendship brings US closer together and allows US to build meaningful relationships and gives us the power show how we care about what we do, those we serve and most importantly, one another.
