Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. & Northern Virginia brings our community together to build decent, affordable housing for local families. We are a locally chartered, self-funded, and independently operated affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We serve Washington, D.C., and the counties of Arlington and Fairfax as well as the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church. We perform all the fundraising, build site selection, home construction, and partner family selection and support in our service area.

An astounding 52% of these dedicated individuals are taking steps to further their academic journeys, showcasing a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. In addition, an impressive 92% of children residing in Habitat DC-NOVA homes have graduated high school. This remarkable achievement starkly contrasts with the District's overall graduation rate, which lingers at only 69%.
