The power of community in our careers can’t be overstated. Having peers to walk alongside—through challenges, wins, and the moments in between—makes all the difference. Whether it’s sharing advice, lifting each other up, or simply knowing you’re not alone, these connections shape how we grow and lead. This Women in Construction (WIC) Week, I had the opportunity to celebrate with the Baltimore chapter, surrounded by incredible women and allies who are shaping the future of our industry. A huge thank you to Harkins Builders, Inc. and NAWIC Baltimore Chapter #135#135 for bringing us all together to "Frame & Build" our careers—because when we invest in each other, we all rise. Kristen Schuler, Bonnie Cronin, Laura Byrne, Christina Fritz, Ambre Schaffer - YOU ALL ROCK!! Even more inspiring? These women accepted the "2025: Year of the Mentor" Challenge! They’re leaning into their own mentoring styles and committing to finding mentoring moments every day—because mentorship isn’t just a formal program, it’s the everyday moments of sharing wisdom, guidance, and support. Find your tribe and build together! #WICWeek #WomenInConstruction #YearOfTheMentor #Mentorship #CareerGrowth #Community #PinkMentorNetwork

Harkins Builders, Inc. is more than just a company—it’s a catalyst for growth, a hub for innovation, and a space that continues to change my life and accelerate my career. And the wildest part? I’m not even a Harkins employee. We kicked off Women in Construction (WIC) Week in the best way possible—by diving deep into the power of mentorship with Stacy Cassio at the Harkins office. The energy in the room was inspiring, the conversations were transformative, and the impact of this session will be felt far beyond WIC Week. But here’s the thing about Harkins: their commitment to lifting others up isn’t just a once-a-year initiative. They continuously create opportunities, spaces, and conversations that drive careers forward, empower individuals, and foster real change in our industry. Whether it’s hosting events, supporting workforce development, or investing in the next generation of builders and leaders, Harkins proves that culture is more than a buzzword—it’s a responsibility they take seriously. I walked into their space for a mentorship event, and I walked out with new perspectives, stronger connections, and even more fuel for the fire that drives my career. To the Harkins team—thank you. Not just for WIC Week, but for everything you continue to do to shape the future of construction. Your impact is undeniable, and I am so grateful to be part of the ripple effect. #WICWeek #MentorshipMatters #NAWICBaltimore #Leadership #TogetherWeRise #HarkinsBuilders #ThePowerInTheRoom

Yesterday, in celebration of Women in Construction Week, we partnered with NAWIC Baltimore Chapter #135 to host a dynamic event featuring Stacy Cassio, founder of the Pink Mentor Network. Stacy's presentation highlighted the vital role of mentorship in building a thriving and supportive construction industry. She explained that mentorship is about learning from each other and goes beyond just career advancement. By encouraging a culture of shared learning at all skill levels, we can boost innovation and teamwork—values that are important to us at Harkins. Cecilia Campos, Risk Management Administrator at Harkins, summarized the impact of Stacy's message: "Mentorship isn’t about ascending a career ladder, but it’s about learning from your peers and even new people in your field." Let's continue to cultivate a culture of growth, collaboration, and community, this week and beyond. Together we rise! #WICWeek2025
