🌲To cap off an incredible summer, our students gathered at Camp Cedar for a transformative experience, connecting, challenging themselves, and growing as leaders and teammates. For the first time, all five Harlem Lacrosse cities were fully represented, creating a powerful sense of #unity and community. 🏆 A highlight of the camp was the presentation of the Peacemaker Award, honoring one male and one female camper who exemplify high character, unity, and #leadership. This tradition, created in memory of Morgan McDuffee, has been a cornerstone of our summer experience since 2002. 🌟 We're proud to celebrate this year’s deserving recipients: Danny and Dayna! Harlem Lacrosse Baltimore students had an amazing opportunity to visit the Under Armour HQ construction site in the Baltimore Peninsula for a fun and engaging job site tour last week.   Students met with several members of the Whiting-Turner construction team working at the site and had the chance to ask questions about the construction industry, challenges each individual faced, and more.   Students also toured the athletic field and watched a presentation on the Under Armour facility, including its history and future.   Touchpointbaltimore.org

It’s not every day you run into two Lamar Jackson’s! Huge shoutout to Lamar Jackson ( NFL Quarterback) and The Baltimore Ravens for making this happen. A couple of things these Baltimore Lamar Jackson’s have in common? The uncanny ability to work their hardest and to do everything in their power to be great. What I can say about Lamar Jackson ( Harlem Lacrosse )? Will not allow any obstacle in his path to deter him from his goals and future. Lamar is a 4.0 Student Athlete who is the hardest worker on any field he steps foot on. I’ve watched this young man excel so much in such a short period of time and I truly believe he is destined to play at any high level NCAA institution he wants! Its students like Lamar that makes getting up every day to do the work that we do at Harlem Lacrosse meaningful and worthwhile. Keep up the amazing work Lamar. Greatness is in your name!

dakota's multi-year commitment has helped to propel Harlem Lacrosse-Philadelphia forward in recent years. The partnership I've experienced with Barbara Loeslein, coupled with the belief from Gui Costin is powerful. Seeing so many Dakota employees out on the field was energizing! Harlem Lacrosse is a school-based nonprofit organization that provides academic support, mentoring, leadership training, and lacrosse instruction to students in underserved communities. Here in Philadelphia, “HLP” operates out of the Thomas K Finletter Academics Plus School and the Olney Elementary School in North Philly. I serve on the HLP board. We also have programs in New York, Boston, Baltimore, and LA. Here’s how you can make an impact: 1. Volunteer Your Time: Become a mentor, tutor, or coach. Your guidance and support can inspire students to reach their academic and athletic goals. We have volunteered many times at practice and can report that it is a blast. 2. Donate: Contributions help fund essential programs and resources. Every dollar goes a long way in providing students with the tools they need to succeed. 3. Spread the Word: Share Harlem Lacrosse’s mission with your network. The more people know about the organization, the greater the impact we can make together. 4. Partnerships: If you’re part of a company or organization, consider partnering with Harlem Lacrosse. Corporate support can provide significant resources and opportunities for students.
