Our very own Good Cheer and Champagne Luncheon Committee member Phyllis Jillson makes all of these wonderful bows for us every year for our Golf and Champagne Luncheon Auctions. The HHHC Bereavement Team is hosting a Men's Brunch on November 12th. This event is a supportive gathering for men who have lost a loved one to connect and share experiences over breakfast. We recognize that grief sometimes looks different for men. Please join us November 12th from 10am-11:30am. This event is free of charge and open to the public. Did someone say Taco Tuesday!? Our Employee Engagement Committee hosted Taco Tuesday for all staff in celebration of Physical Therapy Month and Spiritual/Pastoral Care Week. With some help from our friends at QDOBA in Merrimack and the fine chopping skills of our committee, we had all the fixin's for a delicious taco bar! #TacoTuesday #WeAreHHHC

October is National Physical Therapy Month, a time to raise awareness about the many benefits of physical therapy and celebrate the the vital roles physical therapists play in falls awareness, prevention and recovering from falls-related injuries. Even the nursing students got in on the action as our registered therapy pet teams visited hospice patients at The Huntington at Nashua today! Students and staff as well as patients and visitors enjoyed interacting with miniature horses Bucky (pictured) and Nutmeg. As you can see, the horses wear Velcro sneakers indoors so that they don’t slip on any hard floor surfaces. These amazing beings bring smiles and comfort wherever they go. #pettherapy #volunteer #WeAreHHHC

The Amherst Garden Club members toured the Community Hospice House gardens today. We were honored to show our 1st year progress and the difference that our new drip irrigation system has made for plant health. The Garden Club’s financial support helped make it happen!

As we celebrate former President Jimmy Carter’s 100th birthday, we extend our gratitude for his courageous decision to openly share his choice of hospice care. His transparency sparked important conversations nationwide, helping more people access the compassionate care they need and deserve. The UNH Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program provided us with a grant to renovate our gardens around the Community Hospice House patio. We are grateful for their partnership in bringing additional beauty to the spaces our patients and families use and enjoy.
