Today I have been working with VAUSA® for two years. In honor of this, I thought I'd share 2 ways this company has changed my life! 1. They genuinely understand and care for military spouses in the work force. As we continuously PCS to new places, go through trials of deployments and field ops, and face the unexpected challenges that come with the military life, they are constantly working to make careers for spouses accessible in all of these stages. I am able to go visit family for weeks at a time or move to a new location without having to give a two weeks notice or fear that I can't continue with my own career. 2. They have given me the opportunity to ignite my passions. As a former content creator, I found a passion of photography and editing content in different avenues, social media marketing, and building an online community through authentic connection and engagement. I was able to take these skills and match with a client that allows me to tap into these skills. You know the saying, "When you love your job, you never work a day in your life." It finally has meaning for me as I matched with a client through VAUSA! I love the content I am creating, I love finding new ways to engage in the social media world, and continue to improve my skills with the community built in at VAUSA. We may be remote workers, but the company has created a way to allow us to connect and grow our skills together to provide quality service to our clients and stay up to date as the professional world evolves.
