Earlier this week, HKS' Atlanta office hosted 'Design on a Spectrum' — a panel discussion focused on brain healthy and neuro-inclusive spaces. The group explored actionable strategies and best practices for creating environments that support varied cognitive profiles. Our very own Ronnie Belizaire, FIIDA moderated, and others from HKS — Elizabeth Fallon and Eric Kutche — joined as panelists. "It’s important to shed light on how the built environment can support human cognitive processing and provide brain healthy and safe spaces for all no matter where they fall on the neurological spectrum," says Ronnie. "These conversations are a positive step in continuing to consider all humans as we design the spaces and places in which we converge."
