Last week, Hobbs Brook Real Estate celebrated the groundbreaking of FM's newest state-of-the-art Science and Technology Centre, Europe, in Luxembourg! This remarkable facility will focus on scientific research and risk mitigation for FM clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, specializing in climate hazard research, industry technology advancements, and cyber risk loss prevention solutions. The project is being developed to the highest engineering, resilience, and sustainability standards. We are incredibly proud to be the lead developer on this innovative project. Last week, Chef Paul Acosta represented Hobbs Brook Real Estate and Four Points by Sheraton Norwood at the Catersource + The Special Event Show conference’s DICED Competition in Fort Lauderdale. Chef Paul was selected from a pool of global, industry-leading chefs as one of six contestants competing for a live panel, including celebrity chefs Eric Levine, Nettie Frank, and Ron Ben Israel. Contestants were given 30 minutes to create an “Oscar-worthy” presentation using a mystery box of ingredients and minimum cooking utensils. Chef Paul stunned the judges with his creative Parisian gnocchi with pork belly cream sauce, pickled lychee, and wild dried oregano, and was announced as the competition’s winner! Happy Valentine’s Day! Throughout this week we wanted to show some special appreciation to our valued tenants! Our Northwoods campus featured a “Make & Take” bouquet bar where participants designed custom floral arrangements from a wide selection of freshly cut flowers, along with locally made truffles from Chocolate Delicacy. Our Mainspring and Edge campuses featured a Valentine’s Day candy bar where tenants customized festive candy boxes with locally made chocolates and sweets courtesy of Secret Stash Sweets, along with Valentine’s Day cards for tenants to pass on to a special someone!  Thank you to all who attended our third-annual Valentine’s Day events!
