When Valantis, a modular framework for developers to construct decentralized exchanges, approached us with a request to update their brand, we immediately found inspiration and got to work. The modular nature and flexibility of Valantis guided us in creating a new visual identity for the brand. Following the visual identity, we were able to create systematic brand guidelines that will keep the brand consistent through the years.Finally, our motion team was hard at work to create immersive animated brand graphics that provide a deeper layer to the Valantis website. Redesigning a New York-based digital company with the goal of giving more life and personality to their brand. For the brand refresh of Friends from the City, the main two elements that inspired each segment of the brand were a friendly feeling and New York City. This might seem obvious, but it’s important to keep the recognizable aspects of a brand, while updating the visuals and design side of the brand. We were inspired by the legendary Massimo Vignelli and his work that reshaped the visual identity of the New York subway system. So we utilized the same typography and we aimed to achieve the same colorful and functional feeling for the brand.

You can experience the website for yourself at: www.accordion.net.au As a successful production company that has been working for seven years, Accordion was ready to update their website to provide a new look at the artistic talent and creativity that’s at the heart of Accordion. We worked with Accordion to create a new visual identity that puts the focus on the unique portfolio of the artists they work with and the work of the production company itself. With a clean composition supported by motion graphics and a monochrome color profile, the website became a contemporary experience that highlights the work of Accordion. Every graphic element of the website was specifically chosen to fit together through an impactful contrast or a subtle resemblance.
