Did you know that only 30-50% of youth in foster care obtain their high school diploma, and just 3-5% obtain a four-year college degree? In 2016, HomeSafe opened the Bernstein Family Foundation Independent Living Campus at Pond Place to give former foster youth (ages 18-23) access to safe, affordable housing, guidance and mentorship, and educational resources. 100% of our young adults maintain full-time enrollment at a high school, accredited college or university, or in a vocational program seeking professional credits.
