Hoover Presidential Foundation

The Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum will begin its renovation in first quarter of 2025 with a targeted completion of summer 2026. Casey Winders joined the Foundation staff this summer as our Marketing and Communications Intern. He will be a senior marketing major at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. His favorite spot on the Hoover Campus is the Blacksmith Shop.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum will undergo its first renovation since 1992. BRC Imagination Arts created a series of renderings to present how the museum will appear. This image shows how the museum journey begins. We had a visit from the United States Archivist, Dr. Colleen Shogan. She spoke about future efforts of the National Archives and Records Administration, including digitization and focusing more on access and communication.

We will have a preview of the plans for the renovation of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum at the Hoover Experience Tent near the intersection of Downey and Main Street in West Branch on August 10 from 11:00-4:30 during Hoover's Hometown Days.
