This funding will help us engage men and boys as allies in preventing violence against women and girls in Summit County. The 9th Annual Responding to the Needs of Victims Conference, presented by the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office, will take place on Friday, September 13th, starting at 8:30 AM. The training will cover: Signs and Symptoms of Strangulation, Intimate Partner Violence and Predominant Aggressor Determination, Identifying and Documenting Strangulation, Trauma-Informed Interviewing and Report Writing, and Promoting Systems Collaboration. By participating in these programs, we can ensure that you are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to address the unique needs of victims and provide them with the support they deserve. This event was approved by the Ohio Peace Office Commission, offering 6 credit hours to law enforcement.
