Our CEO Jim Snee represented Hormel Foods at the Borlaug Dialogue, an event which brings together over 1,400 individuals from more than 65 countries to address cutting-edge issues related to global food security and nutrition. He showcased the Hometown Food Security Project, a public-private sector partnership in Mower County focused on improving food insecurity as an example of our company’s hands-on approach to philanthropy. Jim also moderated a conversation with Olympic legend Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Chancellor Jones from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign around their efforts with The Jackie Joyner-Kersee (JJK) Food, Agriculture, Nutrition (FAN) Innovation Center to fight food insecurity in East St. Louis.
