A way to practice compassionate leadership is to make charitable assumptions. Our founder Danny Meyer reminds us to always assume the best of people even when (or even especially when) they aren't behaving particularly well. Simply ask what happened. It presumes there might be a good reason for the misstep and gives people a chance to explain. #leadership #hospitality #professionaldevelopment
