    Elevating Authenticity: Poppins' Design Journey with Il Gattopardo Poppins, an end-to-end brand experience agency in London, collaborated with Il Gattopardo, the first original restaurant concept in D.ream Group's portfolio, to define its brand identity, blending artistry with authenticity – inspired by the charm of 1960s Italy. Poppins' approach was meticulous yet imaginative, focusing on the iconic leopard to capture the restaurant’s essence. They blended classic Italian style with modern design to create a brand that feels both timeless and modern. From leopard illustrations to the lively patterns and colors, every little detail was carefully crafted. It was important that Il Gattopardo’s interior matched the new brand identity. From the tableware to the bespoke wallpaper, even booking a table online, the goal was to ensure a seamless (branded) guest experience across all digital and physical touch points. The result is a brand that not only speaks to diners but also weaves in a narrative of 1960s Italian charm, brought to life through Poppins' visionary strategic, design and digital work.     HMx Pros Spotlight: Michaël Engelmann, MS Meet Michaël Engelmann, a distinguished Master Sommelier with over two decades of experience in creating beverage programs for prestigious restaurants and hotels. He’s been involved in shaping exceptional wine programs for renowned establishments such as Wine Spectator private club in Hudson Yards, the Grand Award winning Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney and the Michelin-starred The Modern from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group.  Through his company, sommelier57, Michaël provides consulting services for hotels and restaurants wine programs of all sizes, curated staff trainings, immersive tastings and educational master classes for all knowledge levels. He also curates, organizes and manages private cellars. Michaël is also the recipient of the Krug Cup for passing his Master Sommelier exam on his first try, winner of the Best Sommelier in America in 2009, and was named one of the five “Best New Sommeliers” by Wine & Spirits magazine that same year. We're excited to have Michaël on HMx Pros, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to our community of hospitality professionals. GRG is still run by the Lombardo family with an unwavering dedication to hospitality, quality, and value. This project represents an unprecedented pairing, bringing together the Lombardo family's operational expertise and José Andrés Group's Michelin-starred culinary ingenuity.
