As part of our #FOCWorks campaign, we’re excited to share Lilly’s inspiring journey of resilience, growth, and giving back to her community. (Client’s name has been changed to protect their privacy.) Lilly, a participant in the HumanKind Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) program, began her journey by working with FOC Career and Employment Coach Suzanne Donich. Together, they built a standout resume and refined Lilly’s interviewing skills. After completing the program, Lily achieved a major milestone: she became a coordinator with a local nonprofit! Lilly’s journey with the FOC program didn’t stop there. With support from Financial Coach Nicole Ross, Liz tackled her finances head-on, paying off her debt, creating a budget, and opening her first savings account. Through the FOC SMART Savings Program, Lily set her sights on one day becoming a homeowner. In her role as a coordinator, Lilly works to ensure that other community members benefit from the same holistic services that transformed her life. She supports financial workshops, career development, and digital learning. Her dedication has inspired those she mentors, with one mentee sharing, “Liz is my role model! She started where I started and look at her now!” Join us as we celebrate Lilly’s achievements! We’re proud to see how the FOC model and the dedicated staff empower their communities #FOCWorks.
